EMPLOYMENT AND CIVIL RIGHTS ATTORNEY

Mr. Milewski represents employees in employment and civil rights claims against management of public and private employers. He has over two decades of experience litigating complex employment and civil rights claims, including claims pursuant to the Law Against Discrimination (“LAD”), the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (“CEPA”) (the whistleblower statute), the Pregnancy Workers Fairness Act (“PWFA”), the New Jersey Civil Rights Act and New Jersey State Constitution, the Federal Civil Rights Act and US Constitution (§ 1983 claims), the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act (“ADA”), and many more statutory and common law claims. Mr. Milewski has had highly favorable outcomes for employment and civil rights clients and is always eager to take on interesting new cases.
Mr. Milewski also runs a general practice representing plaintiffs in tort and general injury cases for motor vehicle and slip and fall clients, mainly against public entities pursuant to Title 59, and defending clients against criminal and quasi-criminal charges in State and municipal courts.
Mr. Milewski offers services advising management clients as to employment/human resources best practices, drafting employment handbooks and employment agreements, drafting various contracts, drafting operating and partnership agreements, providing clients with services relating to formation of corporations and other business entities, and consulting/advising as to general employment law, commercial law and contract issues.
